about us

Canna Curious Wellness™ (CCW) is built on a simple principle: clarity creates confidence. We are an education-first publishing and experience-design company dedicated to helping people understand cannabis through intention, context, and real-world experience—rather than strain mythology or THC escalation. By translating complex information such as product composition, dosing concepts, and use context into plain-language guidance, CCW reduces confusion and guesswork, supporting informed decision-making, safer use, and trust that extends beyond the point of sale and into everyday life.

Our work is grounded in the belief that wellness is multidimensional and deeply personal, shaped by physical comfort, emotional state, daily context, and life stage. CCW does not sell cannabis and does not promote outcomes. Instead, we support a lifestyle approach to cannabis education that emphasizes balance, intention, and moderation—particularly for wellness-focused consumers 55+. By prioritizing education over promotion and experience over escalation, we equip individuals to engage with cannabis thoughtfully and responsibly, as one potential tool within a broader approach to quality of life.

CCW was founded by Magnus Thorsson, Ph.D., a leader in education-driven consumer experience. Trained in teaching (M.A.T., Bennington College) and consumer behavior (Ph.D., Iowa State University), Dr. Thorsson developed the world’s first four-year academic program in cannabis entrepreneurship. His work focuses on how clear guidance and experiential learning improve both the enjoyment and effectiveness of complex decisions. By applying educational merchandising, embedding learning directly into retail environments and take-home materials—he helps dispensaries and cultivators reach broader audiences, build trust, and support more confident, repeatable consumer experiences.
